It was a typical busy morning getting the older kids ready for school, and refereeing the two little ones, who were in rare form. Reese, the youngest, had taken Riley's Hot Wheels and the baby doll. When I made Reese give one or the other to his brother, he informed me I was fired.
My first reaction was to laugh, than I wondered if I was eligible for unemployment. My freedom was short-lived though. Within two minutes he was asking for breakfast. Good news never lasts.
