Its good to know I'm not alone it sure does feel that way sometimes I'm raising an 8 year old boy and a 7 tear old girl have been doing so for almost 7 years. Moved from the city to the burbs hoping for some peace and quiet and a better place to raise my grandkids but should have moved out of the solar system to find that because their birthmother(my daughter) simply won't allow that.Why are they so oblivious to what is so crystal clear to me?Can anyone answer that for me?

Hello Sharmom welcome to Custodial Grandparents! It's going to be hard to answer that quest if we don't know what the situation is, but if your daughter is unfit because of drug use then the answer should be as clear as everything else is, her perspective is altered and she is not thinking rationally, even when she isn't actually high on drugs, or has done them in a few days, it takes quite awhile to get her rationality back!
So tell us more, or read other experiences to gain some insight!
