It's that time of year again: CHRISTMAS !!!

It's not too late to sign up for Toys for Tots. To find the where to sign up in your area I have included a link:

http://www.toysfortots.org/ Once there, click on "Request Toys" and it will ask for your state. Follow the prompts and it will take you to your local Toys for Tots sign up location.

Also, if you are fortunate enough to be able to contribute, those of us who rely on Toys for Tots for our kids' Christmas will be grateful for your contribution. Either way, let's make this a Merry Christmas for the kids!

Another wonderful resource is the Salvation Army. Our friend is the Office Manager of the Local Salvation Army and they adopt hundreds of families for which they provide a wonderful Christmas. When our son was alive, our grandson went to their summer camp and afterschool program. I'm not sure if it is too late to sign up for Christmas for this year but its worth a try.

Thanks for the heads-up, copper. The public school the kids attend also has a program for families in need who provide clothes and shoes. To anyone in need, call your schools and ask if they have anything like that in your area. Schools are also a great place for resources in the community.
